Church Leadership

Faithful officers called to shepherd, serve, and uphold the mission of Christ’s Church.

In accordance with the Presbyterian Church in America’s Book of Church Order, Christ governs His Church through ordained officers—teaching elders, ruling elders, and deacons—who are called, examined, and set apart for service.

These officers are divinely instituted, not self-appointed, and are recognized by the congregation and ordained by the appropriate court of the Church.

Teaching elders preach the Word, administer the sacraments, and shepherd the flock, while ruling elders share in spiritual oversight, governance, and pastoral care.

Deacons are entrusted with ministries of mercy and stewardship, attending to the physical and material needs of the church.

At Bethel Presbyterian Church, we thank God for the elders and deacons who serve faithfully and invite you to pray for them as they shepherd and serve our congregation.

Officer Nominations

Nominate Men to Serve Our Congregation

Each year in the first quarter, we accept nominations from our members for the offices of Ruling Elder and Deacon.

Please prayerfully consider nominating men to serve as officers for our congregation.

Below you will find link to download the Elder nomination form and Deacon nomination form.

Please read and consider the qualifications as defined in the PCA's Book of Church Order as you submit your nominations for Elder and/or Deacon.

It is courteous to discuss your nomination with the man you are nominating before submitting his name.

Please print and fill out the forms by hand and submit them during Sunday worship.

You may hand them to an usher, submit them in the offering plate, or scan the completed form and email to office@bethelchurchpca.com.

Forms should be submitted during Sunday worship or emailed to office@bethelchurchpca.com
